When your kitchen sink stops draining on one side, you may have a clog right under your sink. When both sides stop draining, that indicates a problem further down the pipe. People often don't realize how much gunk and grime goes down a kitchen sink, frequently there is a very thin path for your wastewater to travel through.

PLEASE, do not continue to poor Draino into a badly clogged faucet! It is a very caustic chemical and we have to remove it before we can rod the drain.
